Here at Kailzie Estate, we’re proud to welcome you with open arms and grounded hearts. Every member of our team plays a part in nurturing the estate’s calm rhythm, from tending the gardens to preparing food, guiding guests or simply keeping the place feeling like home.
You’ll find us tending the gardens, preparing seasonal dishes in the Courtyard Café, welcoming guests to our cottages and Big Lodge, or guiding visitors through woodland walks and moments of calm beside the River Tweed. From restoring pathways to caring for wildlife and helping you unwind, we work together with care, with curiosity, and with a shared love for the land and its stories.

I love working in the shop at Kailzie Estate and the team I work with are fantastic. The gardens, Courtyard Café, accommodation and activities are fabulous and connecting with our visitors who travel far and wide and love the Estate as much as I do is rewarding, uplifting and an absolute Joy.
Fisheries
l enjoy working at Kailzie Fishery because fishing is more than a job to me, it’s my passion. The estate is truly peaceful, and being surrounded by such a beautiful landscape while watching the seasons change is something special.
I love teaching people how to fish, especially seeing kids catch their very first trout. Sharing that excitement and helping others connect with the water and the environment is what makes working here so rewarding.
